Morgan Hill, Calif. (January 25, 2022) — Neutronix-Quintel, Inc. (NXQ), a leading provider of production photolithography equipment, today announced that it has entered into a Collaboration Agreement with Obducat AB.
NXQ and Obducat AB have had a longstanding relationship and mutual technological respect, and this agreement marks the start of a more comprehensive collaboration focused on marketing, sales, service, and support. NXQ will support the sales and marketing activities as well as handle the service and support for Obducat products on the American continent and Obducat will reciprocally do the same for NXQ products on the European continent.
According to Brett Arnold, President of NXQ, “Obducat is known throughout Europe and Asia for being a superior technology leader in Nanoimprint Lithography (NIL), resist coat, develop, lift off, clean and etch tools. Obducat has proven itself with an installed base over 600 tools. NXQ is excited to work with Obducat as their chosen partner to help with their expansion into North America and Obducat is the perfect partner for our expansion throughout Europe. While the Obducat products are extremely well-known for performance and reliability, it’s their impressive culture and commitment to customers success that makes this offering so compelling. Our combined, expanded, and flexible product offerings, which now include cluster configurations, will be backed by unwavering commitment to exceptional customer support. We are very pleased to offer more solutions while enhancing our commitment to customer success. This is truly a win-win-win collaboration for NXQ and Obducat, and especially our customers.”
“We know from earlier joint projects that the NXQ lithography tools offer unique and superior performance that makes for a very good fit with Obducat’s highly customizable product platform focused on high-volume manufacturing (HVM). Additionally, their customer focus and superior customer satisfaction throughout the years, with more than 1500 tools installed, makes NXQ a very desirable partner. With this collaboration we will jointly expand our market presence and local service and support which will in turn strengthen our competitiveness. Furthermore, we will be able to bundle offers on standalone tools and gain the ability to provide very competitive clustered lithography solutions. This also enables us to adapt faster to a rapidly changing business environment with increased regionalization – all in the pursuit of giving our customers the best possible support “says Patrik Lundström, CEO of Obducat AB.
